Amazing Under 8’s Day
Our school community enjoyed a fantastic Under 8’s Day filled with laughter, learning and hands-on activities.
Students participated in a range of engaging experiences that celebrated play-based learning, creativity and curiosity.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces across the school as students explored, collaborated and learned together.
A huge thank you to Karen Back our staff, families and volunteers who helped make the day such a memorable success for our youngest learners.

School Athlete Success
Our school community proudly congratulates Samuel A, who competed on 11 May 2026 in the Level 4 Under 10 Years division at the Queensland State Gymnastics Championships (Individual) held at the Sleeman Sports Complex. Representing Maroochydore Beach Gymnastics, Samuel achieved an outstanding result on the Floor apparatus, earning a score of 10.150 and winning the Queensland Silver Medal in the event. Competing against some of Queensland’s top young gymnasts, Samuel also achieved an impressive result of 13th Overall All Around Champion. Samuel’s dedication, perseverance and commitment to his training continue to shine through in his achievements. Competing at a state level is a fantastic accomplishment and our school community is incredibly proud of the effort, sportsmanship and determination he has shown throughout the season. Congratulations, Samuel, on an outstanding performance and a wonderful achievement for both yourself and your club!

Positive Principal Phone Calls
This week, a number of our Pademelon parents received positive phone calls from the Principal recognising the outstanding writing achievements of our students. Students have been working hard on information reports about Australian animals, demonstrating strong research skills, creativity and an increasing ability to structure and publish quality writing pieces.
It has been wonderful to celebrate the effort, improvement and pride students are showing in their writing. Thank you to our families for continuing to support learning at home and helping foster a love of literacy.
