ORDERING ITEMS
* Online ordering ONLY using the Qkr! App
(orders cut off at 8:30am for that day).

* If you are having issues accessing the App please update it by re-installing it. You can also try logging out and back in again.

* We ask parents to check they have chosen the correct family groups for children. We still have a lot of meals going to the wrong classrooms which in turn causes problems for the children, teachers and Café staff.

 Café C
Our P&C does a wonderful job managing our Café, which provides a variety of fresh, tasty and nutritious food choices for our students and staff.

In 2010 our café was named the Most Environmentally Friendly Tuckshop in Queensland and our volunteers were named Volunteer Team of the year.

Café C operates from our purpose built facility located under our covered play area.  The Café kitchen is staffed by a paid convenor,  and a dedicated band of volunteers.

The menu is prepared with reference to the Guidelines for Healthy School Tuckshops set out by Education Queensland and Queensland Health.

Home bake

Many schools of similar size to Chevallum use Home Bake as a way to involve parents and care givers who are unable to volunteer in person, due to work or family commitments.  Our Cafe team have a ready supply of Home Bake recipes that can be taken home and used to bake up a batch of healthy treats to send back to school.  Your contribution then becomes part of the menu, easy and helpful so please consider this option.

Interested in volunteering?  We need the school community to volunteer in the Café on a regular basis so we can continue to offer great service and a great menu.  Every week we ask a Family Group to help fill our Café Roster, this is about twice per term.  If you can give just one precious hour or provide a batch of home-bake, this is such an enormous help.

We welcome new volunteers to assist with preparation and serving of food each week, so please do not hesitate to drop in and add you name to the roster.

The Café Chevallum team looks forward to seeing you at the Café.
