ENROLMENTS – Year 1 – Year 6
Chevallum State School has an
Enrolment Management Plan which means we are required to prioritise our enrolments to our catchment area (the geographical location where a state school’s core intake of students must live).
Enrolments are accepted at any time throughout the school year.
Completed forms can be returned to the Admin Office or via email enrolment@chevallumss.eq.edu.au
Our office hours are 8.00pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
ENROLMENTS – PREP
At Chevallum State School Prep children learn about themselves while learning with and about others. We believe this is a most effective route to confidence, resilience and independence.
Our Prep Program allows children to learn important preparatory knowledge, skills and experiences to transition them into their formal education. This will include the foundations of early reading, writing and maths learning. Our curriculum implementation is underpinned by our belief in educating the whole child. This approach ensures a balanced program, which embraces active learning processes, social and personal learning and health and physical learning.
When can your child start Prep?
To determine when your child can commence their preparatory year, use the Education Departments
Prep Ready Reckoner.
