CHEVALLUM ANZAC DAY PARADE

Chevallum ANZAC PARADE was held on Friday 22nd April at 9am in the Lyn Winch Hall. The entire event was run by our Year 6 Leaders with some assistance by students from each Family group to lay wreaths. The parade was one in which students commemorated ANZAC Day, and other conflicts around the world involving Australians with an emphasis on the importance of peace and freedom.

EARLY YEARS’ PARENTS IN EDUCATION

Thank you to Miss Cathie (Head of Department - Curriculum) and Mr Johnson (Guidance Officer) for presenting workshops and our Early Years’ teachers for hosting classroom visits on our Parents In Education – FUNdamentals in Learning afternoon on 26 April. The afternoon was highly informative with strategies shared on how to support Early Years children as they navigate their way through their learning journey. Topics covered included Literacy, Numeracy and FUNdamentals in Learning. The sessions were well attended and the parent feedback very positive.
