 The Australian Curriculum

Our school fully implements the Australian Curriculum (AC) in all eight learning areas.

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • HaSS (Humanities and Social Sciences)
  • Health and Physical Education
  • The Arts (Music, Dance, Drama, Media and Visual Arts)
  • Technologies (Digital and Design)
  • Languages (Italian)

The Australian Curriculum sets out the core knowledge, understanding, skills and general capabilities important for all Australian students.

It makes clear what all young Australians should learn as they progress through schooling. It is the foundation for high quality teaching to meet the needs of all Australian students.

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) develops the Australian Curriculum with input from leading educators in each state.

The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority

The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) plays a critical role in the design and delivery of education in Queensland in collaboration with a range of stakeholders and partner agencies.
