Heritage Palmwoods Community Branch is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of Chevallum Strawbfest and also Sponsor of this year’s amazing fireworks display. As a community branch, Heritage Bank partners with the local community represented by Palmwoods Community Branch Ltd to provide local banking services. Better yet, the community company’s share of profits goes back into the community via grants, sponsorships and more!

The Heritage Palmwoods team is truly passionate about the Palmwoods community. When they're not helping customers in the branch, on the phone or online, you’ll often find the team out and about, supporting and sponsoring amazing local community groups and events just like Strawbfest!
On another Heritage Community Branch note, we received our stage curtain, which was courtesy of our successful grant with them. The stage curtain draping system is so simple and functional and is going to assist the school greatly with no more creative ideas needed to block out that glare. We look forward to extending on the curtains size in the future. Its arrival was perfect timing, as I am sure it will come in quite handy for Strawbfest and staging our musicians.

Queensland Association of School Tuckshops (QAST) is a not for profit community organisation dedicated to the promotion and support of Queensland tuckshops in their endeavours to offer nutritious, hygienic and economically viable food services since 1996.
Now QAST has teamed with the Queensland Department of Education to offer three schools within each region a ‘Tuckshop Financial Turnaround’. This is a project that aims to help and support Queensland Tuckshops who are struggling to make profit.
We are incredibly excited that Café C has been successful in its application. We look forward to working with our advisor in the near future to improve not only our profit margins but also our service to you, the community.
Family D volunteer days are: 7th, 8th, 9th August
Family E volunteer days are: 14th, 15th, 16th August
Remember anyone from any family group is welcome, and as always we appreciate home bake. Our menu, which includes family group volunteer roster and home bake recipes are available on the schools website
It is with regret that I notify the community of Kerry Tucks resignation from the Uniform Shop. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kerry for her contribution to the P&C and also the school. Her creativeness was a credit to her and also her skills with the community as she served. Kerry is in the final year of her university degree and the demand has become too great, we wish her all the best for her future endeavours.
Claire Butler parent to Eli (Family A) and Lacey (Family G) will be our new Uniform Shop Convenor. Claire has worked closely with Kerry over the last 6 months creating systems within the shop and needs no assistance for an easy transition into the position.
